The Queensland Universities have organised a Happy Hour to celebrate Aust day on Jan 26th at Coast Bar & Bistro, 1/F Kinwick Center, 32-36 Hollywood Road. From 7-8pm there will be free Victorian Bitter beer, Sparkling wine, lamingtons, pavalova (7-8pm), crab races, etc
It will also be a fund raising for the QLD Floods so come and show your support. I have been in Brisbane during the floods and it has caused so much devastation in QLD http://www.qld.gov.au/floods/ They need a lot of rebuilding and work to restore many affected areas including the University of Queensland http://www.uq.edu.au/news/index.html?article=22502
