You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation, reporting directly to the Production Manager. This is a varied Mechanical Engineer role that involves working on special-purpose machinery to specific specifications in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a small team of engineers. There will be plenty of opportunities for personal development as world-class leaders.

Responsibilities and Tasks

- To perform high-quality mechanical assembly in accordance with the drawings and specifications supplied by the Drawing Office, where possible.

- To ensure that machine builds, and times are kept within the Production budget.

- Any component shortages must be reported immediately to the Shop Supervisor.

- In charge of reporting any quality failures

- To ensure that there are adequate supplies of consumable components to complete the tasks at hand.

- Continuous Enhancement

- To fill in for other mechanical engineers

- When necessary, perform factory maintenance tasks.

- During the machine build, perform continuous self-inspection checks.

- Machine commissioning and testing as needed/requested
