Rochedale South LPO (Australian Post)is seeking a postal service officer. While prior experience in a similar role is preferred, it is not essential. We offer on-the-job training, supervision, and support. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail, be enthusiastic and reliable, and demonstrate a strong commitment to prioritize customer satisfaction. Additionally, the candidate should work effectively as part of a growing team. If you consider yourself a 'people person' with a talent for providing exceptional customer service and a genuine passion for connecting with individuals from diverse backgrounds, this opportunity may be the perfect fit for you.

Casual position available. Felixble hour from 8.30am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday

Qualifications & experience

Being a friendly, considerate person with a real passion for great customer service
Work as part of a team to deliver the best possible service and solutions to our customers
Police clearance will be required to work in this role.
Looking for a long-term position
You are willing to learn new skills or expand your current skill-set with further training and development

Tasks & responsibilities

Performing customer sales and service transactions with individual and business customers
Managing & maintaining high value transactions accurately – which includes handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS
Promoting our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising and other promotional activities
Building rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs
Receiving & Sorting Incoming Mail, parcels etc.
