主要调整：

1、2010年1月1日起递交885 886 487类申请时必须已获得职业评估结果，而非过去的已申请即可。
485不受该调整影响。

Pre1 January 2010, applicants applying for permanent migration based onone of the onshore General Skilled Migration (GSM) visa subclasses wererequired, at time of application, to provide evidence that they hadapplied for a skills assessment by the relevant assessing authority. Attime of decision, a suitable skills assessment was required.

From1 January 2010, applicants applying for one of the following onshoreGSM visa subclasses will be required to have obtained a suitable skillsassessment prior to applying for migration in order for the applicationto be valid and assessed by the department for a decision:

Skilled - Independent (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 885)Skilled - Sponsored (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 886)Skilled - Regional Sponsored (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 487)

2、2010年1月1日起，TRADE (即TAFE毕业生)递交境内885 886 487类申请，必须先获得2010年1月1日后申请的TRA职业评估结果。该评估将包括Job Ready。485申请不受该影响。
申请人如果不能在学生签证过期前获得职业评估结果，应尽快联系移民局，或考虑先申请485已获得BVA。

From1 January 2010, onshore applicants applying for permanent migration ina trade occupation will be required to demonstrate that they are 'jobready' as part of their skills assessment. The Job Ready Program hasbeen developed by the relevant assessing authority, Trades RecognitionAustralia (TRA), for this purpose and will include a workplaceassessment by a TRA approved assessor. This was previously referred toas the JobReady Test. This new job ready requirement will affectapplicants applying for Subclass 487, 885 and 886 visas (but does notaffect subclass 485 and 887 visa applicants).

Applicantsfor a Subclass 485 visa will still be required to obtain a suitableskills assessment from the relevant assessing authority before theSubclass 485 visa can be granted. For trade occupations, TRA will stillissue skills assessments suitable for applying for a Subclass 485 visa.

3、2010年1月1日起，TRADE (即TAFE毕业生)递交境外175 176 475类申请，不需要满足Job Ready，但无法再满足澳洲学习条件(俗称两年学习条件)，必须最近24个月内有12个月符合条件的工作经验。

From1 January 2010, applicants nominating a trade occupation under one ofthe offshore GSM visa subclasses are no longer able to meet theAustralian Study Requirement when seeking to migrate to Australia. Thischange impacts on the following visa subclasses:

Skilled - Independent (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 175)

Skilled - Sponsored (Migrant) Visa (Subclass 176)

Skilled - Regional Sponsored (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 475)

Applicantsapplying for one of the above visa subclasses and in one of thespecified occupations can only seek to satisfy the work experiencecriterion. This criterion requires the applicant to have at least 12months work experience in a skilled occupation in the 24 monthsimmediately prior to applying.

Theoption for offshore applicants to apply based on meeting the AustralianStudy Requirement remains open to all other occupations contained onthe Skilled Occupation Demand List (SOL).

已递交GSM申请的TRA不需要重新职业评估
Ilodged my General Skilled Migration (GSM) visa application forpermanent migration before 1 January 2010 and have not yet received myskills assessment. Am I required to meet the job ready requirement?
No. If your application was lodged before 1 January 2010, you are notrequired to meet the job ready requirement as part of your skillsassessment provided your application is for a permanent GSM visa. Therequirement applies to applications lodged on or after 1 January 2010only.

但如果持有485或申请485中，今后申请885/886需要重新职业评估
I am currently on aSubclass 485 visa and have not yet applied for a permanent GSM visa.Will I be required to meet the job ready requirement as I already holda suitable skills assessment obtained when applying for my Subclass 485visa?
If you currently hold a Subclass 485 visa buthave not applied for a permanent onshore GSM visa by 1 January 2010,you will be required to obtain a new skills assessment whichdemonstrates that you are job ready if applicable to your occupation.This will be the case if your trade occupation requires you to providea skills assessment dated on or after 1 January 2010.

境内TAFE毕业生一般情况下将不能申请175,176，除非有符合条件的工作经验
I am applying in a trade occupationthrough one of the offshore GSM visas. Will I need to satisfy the jobready requirement as part of my skills assessment?
No. If you are applying for an offshore GSM visa,you will not be required to satisfy the job ready requirement as partof your skills assessment. However, if your occupation is a tradeoccupation, you will no longer be able to apply to migrate to Australiaunder the GSM program based on meeting the Australian studyrequirement. Instead, you must have at least 12 months of workexperience in a skilled occupation within the 24 months before youapply in order to qualify for a visa grant.
